Project- A Single Mom
This is an organizing project that I worked on. The client had a very busy work schedule. She asked if I could come and help her organize her place. She has a lot of clothing and also buys clothing when she doesn't have time to do laundry (crazy right). I simply came in and organized her space. I didn't buy fancy containers, play interior decorator (that could come later) or try to change things around too much. She wasn't dirty or a hazard. The place was just disorganized.
After we cleaned and organized, she agreed to coaching on how to keep a place neat, clean and organized. She now has systems in place to keep her place clean and organized.

This single mother of one called me needing help organizing her apartment for her and her daughter. I came in and assessed the space to see what I could do. These are the before pictures.

In this single mom's apartment, we started with picking up any garbage. Next we took anything out that did not belong in a living room and put them in the room that they belonged in. Then we cleaned, dusted and vacuumed the room. And then put the room back together again.

Kitchen Area - Before
As you can see, the kitchen bar has many items that belong in other places. The first thing that was done was to put items in the rooms where they belonged.
The kitchen bar has been cleared off and bar stools have been put where they belong.
Cabinets, counter, drawers and lower cabinets have been cleaned and organized.

This is the after picture of the kitchen bar. The bar stools are at the counter and the counter is cleared of all garbage and clutter. All items that do not belong in the kitchen are placed in areas where they belong.
